Breathe by aizercul Breathe by aizercul
Mm finally decided to sit down and finish this.
I'm getting tired of this black and white Sherlock series... I think I'll do one more and then I'll move on.
Sherlock and John.
Caps for reference.

Dear Aizercul:

This is Indy.  Greetings from Canada!! I hope this finds you and yours well.

I do realize that black and white does get boring after a while, but look at all the detail one can see when something is drawn like this?  This is an excellent piece of work. You've got the Baker Street Boys down to a science right to Benedict's cheekbones! I love how you suggested the fog of London in the background. It all works and extremely well. I would like to put this in my faves gallery, if I might.

Keep up the good work, kiddo!!

This is by far my favorite comment! Thank you so much for putting the time into it.
No one has really interpreted my backgrounds as anything, but your interpretation is perfect!
This comment motivates me to keep on drawing.

Dear Aizercul:

I thank you ever so kindly for the compliment!!! Please keep in mind that I'm also half British.  After your black and white stuff, were you planning to do something in colour and, if so, what? Please excuse the Canadian curiosity.

You've got Benedict to a science; right down to his cheekbones.   A little something for your FYI file here:  Jeremy Brett, I feel, is Benedict's predecessor when it comes to playing Holmes.  The only reason we see Sherlock showing up again in this century is the simple fact that they didn't want to be faced with Brett's legacy as Holmes. Yes, he was that good. I think if you looked him up on YouTube, you might find a couple of the episodes of the old Grenada series, "The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes."  He was your typical Victorian gentleman who didn't play a half bad violin and neither does Benedict.

About Benedict, the question keeps being asked: Is there anything he CAN'T do?

It was Moffat and Gatiss' idea to bring our beloved detective into the now so Benedict didn't have to face Brett's legacy.

I feel that that Benedict has filled Jeremy's large shoes extremely well. Long may he keep solving crimes!!!
